Erudite Inc., a leader in secure, intelligent cargo container technology, announces the availability of the EAC 40/80 all-modal cargo containers. "We will start taking orders in December 2010 for delivery during 1Q 2011," remarked Erudite CEO Bob Mooney. "We are very pleased with the strong interest in the EAC 40/80 system by the US military. About the EAC 40/80 System

The Erudite All-modal Cargo System (EAC) is the first truly innovative cargo system delivered for military and commercial use in the last two decades. Its innovative features include: ALL MODAL - AIR MODE: All models are airworthy, and have a footprint that complies with the military 463L logistics rail for cargo aircraft transport, and the EAC can be sling loaded for helicopter transport; OCEAN MODE: All models can be cleanly inserted into standard ISO containers for ocean transport; LAND MODE: the EAC can be forklift loaded onto truck / rail flatbeds and chained for secure transport.
